In this ongoing art club, your learner will create a new watercolor painting each week! This will also be a great opportunity for social interaction with other learners who enjoy art! We will use watercolor paints, oil pastels and more to create our beautiful works of art! We will talk about different artists and art styles as we go. These classes will be easy drawings and I will encourage your learner to add more details and use their own creativity! Watercolor is such a fun and easy way to express yourself! We will talk about the different colors and how they make us feel. Week 1: Beautiful Butterfly Week 2: Fabulous Flamingo Week 3: Busy Bee Week 4: Lovely Llama Week 5: Lovely Ladybug Week 6: Chris Uphues Street Art Hearts Week 7: Flowers in a Vase Week 8: Watercolor Flowers Week 9: James Rizzi Crazy Birds Week 10: Watercolor Leaves Week 11: Watercolor Monsters Week 12: Lovely Lion Week 13: Curious Rabbit I look forward to creating art with your learner!

Hi! My name is Jana Glosson and my passion is teaching children! I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas and am certified to teach EC-6 in Texas. I have over 5 years experience teaching in public and private schools, teaching all ages from Early Childhood through 6th grade. I also have 2 years of online teaching experience. I enjoy scrapbooking, painting, sewing, quilting, cross stitching, card-making, mixed media and most of all, teaching! Before getting my teaching certification, I owned a scrapbooking store in Texas and created and taught hundreds of fun and creative classes. I love building confidence in learners and watching them express their creativity! I look forward to meeting your leaner!
I believe that Art is a wonderful way to express your feelings and thoughts. Being creative is a great outlet for learners of all ages. I love helping others find their creative voice and learn new things.
