課堂經歷
Students will work 1-on-1 with Miss Emma to improve their singing skills. This includes working on range, technique and learning to utilize proper warm up. Be prepared to stand for most of your lesson! Please refer to the learner supply list for items needed to have the most productive lesson. THIS IS A 1-ON-1 CLASS (PLEASE DISREGARD THE 2 LEARNERS LIMIT) We'll spend half the lesson on vocalizing and the other half on a song (chosen by me with the help of the student.) I always tell my students that our lesson is a safe space and a judge free zone! I like to have fun and incorporate fun ways of using our voice for our warm ups. No singing experience necessary! If you have a child who expresses interest in singing or is singing around the house all day, these lessons are for you! I'll teach them how to use their voices and build their confidence! Voice lessons are a lot like weight training, it takes time, but after a while you'll really start to notice a difference! ********POLICY********** Per Outschool policy, refunds will only be issued with 48 hour notice of cancellation. This allows me time required to fill your reserved spot. Anything under 48 hours is considered a late-cancel. I cannot provide refunds for late cancels or no-shows. If notice is given 24 hours in advance, a makeup lesson is guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding!

1) I will provide any lyrics or recordings needed. 2) In order to work on songs together, please have 2 devices for your lesson. 1 for zoom and 1 for playing the recording I provide so the student can sing along with the recording. 3) While it is not required, please be prepared to print lyrics I provide. (otherwise they can view on their device) 4) Please have a pencil if the student has printed lyrics. 5) Not required, however the student may need a straw (for singing exercises). Any type will do except swirly straws. This is will be accompanied by a tall cup with an inch or 2 of water.

About me:
Hello friends! My name is Emma. While music is #1 in my life, i'm also a huge fan of the TV show Doctor Who, an avid ice cream lover, hobby photographer, VR player, and enjoy a good game of ping pong!
What I'll be teaching:
-Voice, piano, and ukulele group and 1-on-1 lessons!
Training Background:
-I got my Bachelors degree in music with an emphasis in musical theatre, from one of the top music schools in the country, Oklahoma City University.
-I have performed with multiple theatre and opera companies, theme parks, and done commercials!
-I've taught at a local music conservatory with ages 4-18.
-I can sing and play the piano, ukulele, and guitar.
-I LOVE music theory!
Teaching Philosophy:
-I always like to say "A beautiful voice is a FREE voice!" We'll discuss goals to help you feel more confident in your musical abilities and in yourself! I'm here to teach you how to use the tools on your musical tool belt whether it's with an instrument or your vocal cords.評論
