課堂經歷
Class Experience In this class, the students will learn how to make a cookie dough and learn how each ingredients play a part in the recipe. We will learn how to create a BEAR shaped cookie without a bear shaped cookie cutter. I will demonstrate each step and students will follow along. No baking knowledge or skills needed for this class. Be ready to use your hands to knead the dough and color the dough. The hands might get stained with food color. It will wash off eventually. Adult’s supervision is required for assistance in putting the baking sheet in and out of the hot oven. Some younger kids might need help rolling out the dough. Parents please review the ingredients list for potential allergens. Ingredients used in the recipe including dairy, eggs and wheat. No nuts. However you can use vegan butter, eggs replacer and gluten free flour for substitution. Please email me If your child is allergic to any of the above listed ingredients.

We will be using hot ovens to bake our cookies. Learners should be assisted by an adult in the kitchen when working with potentially dangerous utensils and appliances such as sharp knives or hot ovens.
Some kids might need assistance in kneading or coloring the dough and rolling out the dough.

Parents must review the class ingredient list for any potential allergens. Flour, sugar, eggs, butter, baking powder and vanilla essence, gel food coloring. Please email me if you need to substitute dairy, wheat or eggs because of food allergies.

My passion is to teach you how to bake and cook using the equipment and tools that are already available in your kitchen. I have been teaching baking and cooking classes for the last 20 odd years. When I am not cooking or baking, I volunteer in nonprofit activities, improvising on recipes and play table and board games with friends and family. Mahjong is one of my favorite games. It is one game that involves some math concepts. I have also been teaching adults and kids how to play the mahjong games. My philosophy on my teaching is to have fun while learning and learn some basic skills which can apply into other areas. I love to collect cookie cutters.評論
