In this course we will build confidence in using the gas laws in chemistry coursework. We will discuss the ideal gas law as well as combined gas laws and how to calculate pressures, volumes, or temperatures of samples under various conditions. We will also see how partial pressures relate to the total pressure of a mixture of gasses. The students will receive discussion questions that will guide us through the lessons each week. Part of the lesson, I will deliver content on the topic and a portion of the lesson each week students will work through practice problems with guidance from me. My goal is to strengthen their skill and confidence in their ability to use the gas laws in calculations found in typical chemistry coursework. Week 1: Ideal Gas Law Week 2: Combined Gas Law Week 3: Dalton's Law of Partial Pressures

Hi, I am a physicist looking to elevate your understanding of major topics experienced when learning general physics.
I studied physics in college and earned Master's degree in physics from Georgia Institute of Technology. I then taught in a traditional classroom for over 10 years. More recently, I developed skills as a medical physicist. I have a heart for helping people.
