On our Urdu adventure, we will join 'Ullo Miyaan', the owl  that will guide us through our adventure. We will explore Urdu words through themes, such as animals, numbers, days of the week etc. 

 I use the 'drilling' technique where we look at, use and practice the vocabulary over and over again using interactive and immersive elements for learners to engage with the lesson target language.

The class who have been listening to Urdu , have some basic knowledge but are reluctant to speak .

All learners will be sent a personalized name tag printable with their name written in Urdu to start their adventure. Please allow up to 24 hours after you enroll your learner for the teacher to send it to you.

In each of the meetings we will follow the following schedule :

Introductions - Explorers will meet Ullo Miyaan. They will learn how to introduce themselves and do basic conversation.
Counting : Explorers will learn how to count .(We will start from 1-5 and if they are ready we will move forward to counting upto 10 )
Animal : Each class  we will learn about a different animal .
                                                                Class 1 : Lion
                                                                Class 2 : Cat
                                                                Class 3 :Rabbit
                                                                Class 4 : Dog
                                                                Class 5 : Elephant
                                                                Class 6:  Revision and presentation 
Days of the week : In each class we will sing a song about days of the week and we will practice through quizzes .
Storytime : Each class we will read a story related to the animal of that class and we will have question and answer session at the end of the story.

Nursery rhyme : We will also sing a nursery rhyme : ten little animals jumping on the bed in Urdu each week so they can learn to sing it on their own by the end of the course.


In the last week : we will dedicate the session to revision of all that we have learned and a discussion on their favorite part of the course . Each child will also be given a certificate of achievement for their hard word and efforts !
