This is a beginner course for those who understand little to no Urdu. It's designed to build comfort and passion with speaking Urdu. This course follows a gamified learning style for the learners. Students will develop an interest and comfort with speaking Urdu through classroom practice conversation and activities. The class focuses on building comfort and confidence with everyday topics in Urdu. They will be able to learn 1. Commonly used words and phrases, 2. Basic rules of conversation (grammar and sentence structure), and 3. How to share about themselves, the surroundings, and their daily activities.
I am a bilingual (Urdu and English) and have been born and raised in Pakistan, and now live in Canada. I have been teaching in-person since 2013 and online since 2020. Since 2020, I've taught over 460 learners online. Now, I teach Urdu Conversations full-time to various age groups out of my passion to preserve the heritage language and to spread the love of speaking Urdu.
