Welcome to our Social Group! It can be hard to find a core social group when you are homeschooling. Other friends may be away at school during the day or maybe you live in a rural area where other girls are too far away to chat with. In our homeschooling social group, you will get to be part of the same group each week and you already have something in common with each other.....you are homeschooled! I am the mother of a homeschooled 15-year-old girl and I know that finding a social group can be tough. There are co-ops that meet and classes to take, even extracurriculuar activities we are involved in, but sometimes these meet sparsely and I know how important it is for girls to have a group they fit in and can see all the time. Before homeschooling my own daughter, I taught middle school in the public school system for 10 years.....I was surrounded by tweens :-)
Activities are not mandatory and can be adapted to fit the needs of each individual learner. No homework or assignments given; just a safe space for learners.
