In this winter class students will learn foundations of lighting and composition techniques using any digital camera or phone. Students will photograph winter themes and will present their work in class. This is a great way to practice their visual art, small group skills, and make new friends. We will be working with natural light (the sun) so, no flash please! We will also cover the "rule of thirds". Week 1 we will look at example photos and talk about what makes good lighting and...
Students will learn how to use their camera in combination with natural lighting and visual composition.

Students will be given projects after week 1 and 2 and will share 3-5 photos with the class. Go through your photography homework with a friend or parent to find your best work. This is what you will share with the class! Students are encouraged to practice their photography and sharing skills throughout the winter.1 - 2 每週課外時間

Students will need a type of digital camera and a way to share the images to the class. Holding the back of the camera or ipad up to the webcam is not ideal.
