Hello! I am excited to invite you to my class! I am a certified, licensed teacher for grades kindergarten through 6th grade. In this class, students will build their skills in reading, spelling, vocabulary, and writing. Each class will be individualized to each student, their needs and their interests. This class is a teacher led class, working one on one through reading stories or working through activities to achieve the goals of the student in different areas of Language Arts. I like to incorporate songs and games into my lessons to provide a fun, engaging lesson for my students.

I am Mrs V, as my classroom students call me. I teach phonics, grammar, science, math, and music classes. I am licensed to teach kindergarten through 6th grade. I also have a minor in music. I taught preschool for 6 years and I did student teaching in kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grades. I have worked part time in the public school system for the last 5 years. I homeschool my two youngest children and enjoy finding fun new ways to teach things. I also teach ESL classes online. I believe that including the student's interests into the lesson engages the learning and makes learning fun and more easily attainable. Fun, hands on activities and games provide an engaging learning environment. My hobbies are animals (I live on a small farm), music (I minored in music), reading and crocheting. I love working with children and seeing the light in their eyes when they learn something new. 評論
