A copy of The 13 Story Treehouse by Andy Griffiths - hard copy or digital will work for the purpose of this class.
Students will need paper, writing utensils, and art supplies (like crayons or markers, etc) for the class.

Optional: If your child would like to use materials such as blocks, Legos, playdough, or other building supplies that is also an option. We will work on creating things from time to time and having some materials on hand may be good but not required! =)

The book is recommended for children ages 6 - 10 per the publisher's recommendation. I always recommend to read or learn about the book prior to enrolling your child in the class to see if you approve of the book. Some students are sensitive to the word "stupid" and that does appear in the story. 
Also you may want to view a sample of the text to gauge the readability for your child. Students will need to read 3 or 4 chapters in between class sessions. Reading can be independently done by the child or he/she may need guidance to read the book.
