In this interactive class, learners will learn about different countries around the world!  

- Welcome/ Introduction
- Google Maps 3D visit to country in comparison to where we live.
- Virtual Field Trip to selected country.  We will visit one continent at a time.
-Complete worksheet in regards to popular tourist attractions, languages spoken and other cool facts.
- Guided Discussion

Each week, we will visit a new country and complete a worksheet with the above information.  Continents are chosen by the teacher each month and which country we will visit each week.  Learners will learn  as they sketch/color their favorite facts that they learned about the country we visited and the flag.

Week of 7/31/23:  Continent of Africa 
Week of 8/7/23:  Chad
Week of 8/14/23: Egypt
Week of 8/21/23:  Kenya
Week of 8/28/23:  Madagascar
Week of 9/7/22:  Morocco

Week of 9/14/23:We will then visit Asia and the learners will select countries from that continent.

If the minimum of 3 students is not met, the class may not take the entire listed time.

This is an inclusive class in which students of all ages (8-18) and abilities are welcome. If a student is unable to communicate verbally they are welcome to use the chat. If your student has any other needs that require accommodations please let me know and we will work develop a way for your learner to participate in a way that they are able.
