Are you ready for a road trip? Join me as we explore the state of South Dakota together. From the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore to the Badlands and the Great Plains, there are facts for everyone to learn about this diverse and beautiful state. We'll learn about some of the geography, wildlife and history as well as people and places that impact the state. Using photographs, Google slides and the National Geographic Kids website, our knowledge of the Mount Rushmore State will grow. After learning new facts, we'll spend the rest of our time together learning South Dakota trivia through a game of Kahoot. Together, let's embark on an virtual and educational road trip.

Learners will be able to identify landforms, locations, wildlife and famous people of South Dakota.
Learners will understand the diversity of South Dakota and general facts about the region.
Learners will comprehend trivia facts that impact life in South Dakota during a game of Kahoot.
