旅行與藝術俱樂部：巴黎的法國之家！

Travel with me to Paris, France as we explore the architecture of this phenomenal city. 
Children will learn about 19th century Haussmann style buildings, with their light-colored façades, mansard rooftops, symmetrical windows, and beautiful wrought iron balconies. Students will compare the watercolor illustrations of Madeline's house in the famous book by Ludwig Bemelmans to the photos of Haussmann style buildings. Madeline's typical 19th century style vine covered house has enchanted readers for decades. Young artists will also be taught a few vocabulary words relating to French homes "maisons" before creating their own Parisian house masterpiece!

My classes are relaxed experiences, where learners are welcome to ask questions and make comments as we learn together. Follow me step by step as I create a work of art based on our class subject, or branch out to produce an entirely individual creation inspired by our discussion. Children are welcome to share their artwork with the class (not required). 

Some students who work at a slower pace may not fully complete their masterpiece in the time permitted for this class and will want to finalize their piece after the live video has ended. This is perfectly normal!
