Join us to explore the Caribbean islands in this weekly class! Each week will take us to a new country where we learn about the country's location, history, the capital city, flag, food, landmarks, animals, and other interesting facts. Below is a breakdown of our meeting schedule. Please note that it is subject to change depending on students' needs and interests. Cuba Jamaica Bahamas Barbados Dominican republic Trinidad and Tobago Grenada St. Lucia Haiti Antigua and Barbuda Dominica St. Vincent and Grenadines St. Kitts and Nevis This class is ongoing, so students can join and go as they please. It is very interactive, with opportunities given for students to ask questions throughout the lesson. A one-page worksheet will be posted for each class. Students may begin working on it as we go through the lesson together or complete it at home. We will play a quick review game after each lesson if we have extra time left. See you soon!

This class uses blooket for reviewing our lesson. Learners will only need to click on a link from me in the zoom chatbox to have access or join in the challenges. No additional device or account is needed for this.
Occasionally, I play short Youtube video (via screen share) during the class to enhance what students are studying. Students may also have short videos shared in the classroom. This is embedded by OS and students do not need to click on any external websites.
