Transformative Mindfulness Life Skills enables students to learn integrative skills for self-awareness, impulse-control, and managing anxiety and stress.

My teaching style is encouraging, patient, and nurturing. I enjoy listening to student's thoughts and discussions as I partner with them while they explore possible ways to apply their discoveries. During our class meetings, I plan to utilize worksheets, activities,  and interactive virtual games.

I have provided pastoral counseling, leadership, ministry, coaching, consulting and care for children, youth and adults over 30 combined years. I have studied, practiced and taught conflict resolution and management to children, youth and adults in my home, in my local community and online.

I received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Development, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I am matriculating in a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education and a Doctor of Ministry degree. I have successfully completed my teaching certification for students learning English as a second language (TESOL).

Darlene is a credentialed Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. Darlene has completed the following International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited certifications: Certified Holistic Coaching, Certified Master Youth/Parent/Family Coaching, Certified Master Coach and the Certified Master Relationship Coach.
