In this Multi-Day course, students will review and practice finding the value for a given amount of coins such as pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, or bills up to twenty dollars. The teacher will demonstrate how to find the total value of a given amount of coins and bills. Students will practice finding the total value of a given amount of coins and bills with the teacher. Students will also practice finding the value of a given amount of coins and bills independently. Students should know the names and values of the penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and bills up to twenty dollars. Students should also be proficient in addition. Students who have these skills could do well in these classes. Finding the value of a given amount of coins and bills is a fundamental skill in life so let's have fun finding the value of coins and bills. Things to be covered: Week 1- Finding the value of a given amount of dimes, pennies, and nickels Week 2- Finding the value of a given amount of quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies Week 3- Finding the value of a given amount of bills up to twenty dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies

Hello everyone! Welcome to Outschool!
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you! I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too. I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online. When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person. My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups. I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License. I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also. My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways. I love to have fun while learning! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.評論
