During this class we will be discussing the Solar System, the parts of the Solar System, Astronauts and how they live and work in space. This is a fun, interactive and engaging course for the youngest of explorers.

Class 8: Exploring Beyond our Solar System
Class 9: Astronaut Life
Class 10: Rovers, Satellites and the Space Station
Class 11: What about Pluto?
Class 12: Review

Class will begin with an introduction of each other, a review or what we already know section, then it will be an interactive power point and discussion part of the class. Next comes songs, books, dancing, and videos (a variety of those in each class). This is a great way for all types of learners to learn! We will end each class with a fun learning game to help us remember what we learned. 
I want this class to be fun, engaging, and sometimes silly. I want the youngest of learners to have fun and be excited to learn new things. This is a very interactive class with dancing, singing, books, interactive Power Points, games and projects to do. Come be a space explorer. 

There will be outside activities to do, they are optional. Such as making a rocket ship with shapes, designing your own space station, creating galaxy paintings, and many other space related activities. Material lists will be posted with activities either before or after class. These are NOT mandatory.
