**Hello and Welcome to the Time Travelers Book Club!** We’re so excited to kick off an amazing adventure with "Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark" by Mary Pope Osborne! Perfect for kids in grades 2 through 4, this session will whisk us back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Join us as we dive into the thrilling tales of Jack and Annie, unraveling prehistoric mysteries and discovering important lessons together. With fun discussions and interactive activities, we’ll spark imaginations and foster a lifelong love for reading. We can’t wait to share this unforgettable literary journey with you! This one time class will provide a space for young readers to discuss and share their love of reading with other students. The class will feature student led discussions of the book along with a book/dinosaur trivia game near the end of class. I will be there to help facilitate these discussions between students, but I strive to make this a safe space for students to explore and foster a love of reading. The class will begin with a brief ice breaker to get students comfortable sharing with each other. Then we will begin our discussion on the book. Students do not have to have read the whole book (as long as they don't mind spoilers!). After our discussion we will play our book/dinosaur trivia on Kahoot.

Hi there! I'm a dedicated educator who is passionate about instilling a love of reading in young learners. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a year of experience as a certified teacher, where I've had the amazing opportunity to guide young minds on their educational journeys.
