During the reading of 'Three Hens and a Peacock' by Lester L. Laminick, we will talk about the characters, make connections, understand the sequence of events, and use context clues to help us understand words that are unfamiliar. Reading to them will also help them develop and increase their language and listening skills. The stories I will read are children’s favorites and I promise you it will be not only be educational, but a great time for your child as well. I hope to instill the love of reading in children, expand their imagination, and increase their understanding of the world around them!
