We will be reading and acting out the story, "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves" by Lucille Colandro. This is a very fun book for children to listen to. I will be engaging them throughout the story by asking questions and having them act out some of the words in the story! I am a very active and animated teacher. I believe children learn best through fun! After completing the story, we will talk about what the old lady swallowed first, second, etc. I have also attached...
Students will increase their listening skills and learn to sequence while reading. We will discuss what happens first, second, third.... in the story. I want each student to develop a love of reading and have fun while learning!
I have taught reading and phonics online for the past three years plus five years in the classroom! Younger children need animation and fun in class! I promise this will be a fun and very engaging class!
