In this class, we will read There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Bat by Lucille Colandro. After the story is over, we will do an activity! We will also sing and dance to Halloween songs. My teaching style is fun, engaging and inclusive! There is no prior experience or knowledge needed to take this course. We will begin class by introducing ourselves and singing and dancing to Halloween songs. Next we will talk a little about what we like about Halloween. Then, we will read our book. After we have finished our book, we will do a fun drawing activity.

Hello! My name is Teacher Kelsey! I am so excited to meet your children in my classroom! I teach reading/literacy from 4 years old to upper middle school. I also teach public speaking and event planning courses. I have been working with children and college aged students for 8 years. I have tutored many children in different subjects and I was also a teachers assistant in college. I graduated from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS in 2014. I love to make learning fun and engaging! I believe that children learn best when learning is fun and interesting! In my free time, I love to read and go on adventures with my husband and our two children! We recently bought a new house so we have been having a lot of fun doing projects to make our new house a home! I also enjoy crafting! I LOVE to cook and bake!
