Why do snakes shed their skin? 🐍 Why can't we feel the earth spinning? 🌏 Why do we shiver when we are cold?🥶 Why do roses have thorns?🌹 Why do we burp? 🤭 Why do flamingos stand on one leg? 🦩 This ongoing class will encourage learners to remain curious and use critical thinking to explore the world around them. We will meet each week to discuss “why” questions from all different areas of science. At the start of each class, I will present a theme and some “why” questions related to the theme....
Students will learn to think like scientists and to apply critical thinking skills in various situations. They will also gain experience communicating their thoughts and ideas in a group.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University in 2012. As a Certified Online ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher, I have taught about 800 online English classes to students ages 3-14. I have experience in making online classes successful and engaging.
