Word traveled quick across the lands of this mysterious tower, just on the outskirts of a small village. Having appeared magically the day before, no one knows where it came from but the thrill of the unknown and the chance for treasure has brought adventurers from near and far to the town. Will you be able to reach the top or fall prey to what hides inside? The class will be a normal Dungeons and Dragons session following 5th edition rules. I will be the Dungeon Master, in charge of rules...
Students will learn key problem solving skills in a fun and supportive environment. Students will learn how to work with a team and co-operate with each other in order to achieve an end goal. Students will be encouraged to explore creativity through performing or role playing as their character. Students will learn how to play the game Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition.
Required Materials : A 5th edition character level 1 only, set of dice (1d4; 1d6; 1d8; 1d10; 1d100; 1d20), pencil, and scrap paper. If you do not have dice, there are plenty of free apps you can use if you do not wish to buy a set. Otherwise, sets can be purchased easily through Amazon or comic book/board game stores. It is recommended that the student has a basic understanding of the game, but it is not required as I teach them as we go along. If this is your child's first introduction to the game, then I would recommend at least reading the Basic Rules. I have also provided links to some free materials including the Essential Rule Book and free pre-made characters if needed!
