There is a good chance you've eaten a product produced by the Hershey Company, but do you know how this world famous company got started? During this class we will learn about the life of Milton S. Hershey and his journey to making Hershey's Chocolate a success. We will learn about the steps that led him to be successful in business and how he used his success to create a town that is still thriving today. Hershey was not only an entrepreneur, but a visionary with the heart of a philanthropist which enabled him to seal his legacy in more than just chocolate. Through the use of Google Slides, photos, maps and a "how well do you know your candy" activity, we'll learn the history of Hershey and see what the town looks like today. Join me as we explore the story behind the iconic name of Milton Hershey and his hometown, the "Sweetest Place on Earth". No prior knowledge required.
