Students will learn about the adaptations of each of the three bears of North America and how those traits make them specialized for their environment. We will discuss the definitions of adaptation and habitat and apply them to the bears. After this discussion we will craft habitats for the bears using materials collected from nature, paper, clay or playdoh and crayons or markers.
