Learners will be engaged in a dynamic and interactive class that uses slides, lecture, exercises, conversation, and project creation. Learners will discover how the voice functions from an anatomical perspective in regard to singing and speaking. Learners will build a movable paper model of the human larynx. Dr. Cynthia has 18 years of one-on-one voice lesson teaching experience with learners ages 7 and up. She has taught voice in the USA and India. She holds three music degrees in vocal music, including a Doctorate in Vocal Performance. Her current and former learners have successfully auditioned for programs and shows, placed in international voice competitions, completed Masters programs in voice, and hold successful full-time careers in music. Dr. Cynthia has performed in the USA, Austria, India, and Switzerland. Currently, Dr. Cynthia, a mezzo-soprano, teaches at the university-level and performs professionally as a soloist and chorister.
