Learning how to craft a piece of creative writing is important - but sometimes time is short and you want something to scratch that creative itch, or simply want to learn how to run with an idea without focusing on the details too much. In this one time class, we play by the 'Don't overthink it- just do it!' rule. Students will: practice quick-thinking skills begin learning to let go of needing to have everything 'perfect' and enjoying the process of writing itself learn to use ideas as a first draft if they wish to develop their writing further.
Writing is my passion and as well as majoring in English at university, along with Theatre Arts, I've almost 20 years of experience in teaching English in primary schools. Over those years, I have worked regularly with groups of children specifically on English writing skills and teaching creative writing online.
