By the end of this class, students will be able to discuss the setting relevance, characterization, simple plot structure, settings, and practice giving the class reasons for their opinions about the book series. This is a one-time class focused on the Never Girls book series; thus, each class will be a stand-alone lesson. Even though this is a "book club," each class will have a different literary focus in addition to review of the three major elements of plot, setting and characters. This particular class will emphasize author's purpose and connect the text to self, world and other text.
In addition, the soft skills of communication will be taught and practiced.

I hold a master's degree with an emphasis in reading.  I teach special education and am adept at keeping younger students focused and excited during online learning.
