In this class we will expand our innate skills of visual perception to see the natural world with the eyes of an artist. Great artists, from El Greco to Renoir, J.M.W. Turner to Paul Cezanne, see the world differently, with an intense acuity. We will learn to do the same, exploring how perception can impact...
Learners will expand their critical thinking and observational skills to truly engage with the visual world and give them the confidence to appreciate all art going forward.
Trained in art history at The University of Michigan, I successfully created, and for several years taught, a full high school level art history class.
