故事之地讀書俱樂部：女巫歸來（第二冊）

Come along on a magical adventure and jump into the Land of Stories series. This series is engaging and full of adventure. Your reader will want to read the series over and over. (I have read it 4 times). In this 5-week book club students will read, "The Enchantress Returns" by Chris Colfer. This is the second book in the series. It is helpful if your student has read book one. Readers will read the assigned chapters BEFORE class and will be ready for discussion. During our class discussion we will look at characters, setting, and plot. We will practice summarizing, making inferences, asking questions, predicting and accessing background knowledge.We will look at character development and growth and see how we can apply this to our own lives. After our class discussion, students will work on their fairy tale page for the week. Students will be applying what they read, our discussion to create a drawing of what happened in the chapters we read. This is a great way for students to visualize the story and is a key component to reading comprehension. 

**This is a positive classroom environment for all abilities. No prior knowledge is needed. My goal is to improve reading comprehension and create a love for reading**
