In this class, your child will learn about the "Five" Senses: See, Hear, Taste, Touch and Smell! I have a slides presentation using pictures to show what body part uses each of these senses. They will practice speaking in complete sentences: I see with my eyes. I hear with my ears. They will repeat this sentence pattern for each one of their senses. We will also have a question and answer session. Your child will see more pictures of objects that match each sense. Again, they will...
The learning goal is for your child to understand which body part performs each sense: I smell with my....NOSE. I taste with my...MOUTH. They will also learn that many objects can use more than one sense. Your child will practice using complete sentences.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music specializing in Voice. I like to incorporate music into my teaching style whenever I can. I have worked in the public schools. I also taught Christian education to youth in my church where I was also the youth choir director. I currently teach English as a second language online to children ages 3-18. I am a mother of a 13 year old and a 3 year old!
