課堂經歷
In this class your student will learn how to cook or bake breakfast dishes (sometimes seasonal) while following a recipe. Following a recipe involves learning and practicing measurement, reading and following directions, problem solving and creativity. In each class we will talk about ways in which we can use that dish to create a balanced breakfast. This is an interactive cooking class and your student will be cooking right along with me. I will demonstrate step by step, making sure we move along together through completing the recipe. I will have one camera that is dedicated just to the work station so your student can see exactly what is taking place. Your student will be able to ask questions and meet new friends. Class schedule: Summer 2024 Week of June 16: Puffed French Toast Week of June 23 : Fluffy Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Burrito Week of June 30 : Homemade Waffles with Compote Week of July 7 : Blueberry Muffins Week of July 14 : Mini Vegetable Frittata Week of July 21 : Avocado Toast and Fried Eggs Week of July 28 : Scones Week of August 4: Jalapeno & Cheddar Cheese Biscuits Week of August 11: Spinach Quiche Week of August 18 : Peach Dutch Baby

Your student will learn how to prepare different breakfast dishes. Your student will also learn how to serve these dishes to have a healthy and balanced start to their day.

This cooking class will sometimes involve the use of knives, the stove top and oven. Parental supervision is recommended. Also note that this class may sometimes run 5-10 minutes over class time depending on what we prepare that week.

I enjoy baking and cooking in my kitchen. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge with kids, including my own elementary school son. Baking and Cooking are one of our favorite classes to do together in our homeschool. My second degree is in Culinary Arts and I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Miami. Since graduation, some of my industry experience includes cooking at a Disney Resort as well as Catering for Aramark. I have also owned my own catering and cake business. I have taught cooking and baking classes to both adults and kids online and in person.
I am so excited to be able to share my knowledge and look forward to seeing your student in class!
