20 lessons//10 Weeks
 Week 1
Lesson 1
Three Toed Sloth & Harpy Eagle
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! For example, did you know that the three-toed sloth is more closely related to the extinct ground sloths than it is to its living two-toed cousin? If you have watched the Ice Age movies, Sid the sloth is a giant ground sloth! They used to be 20 feet long! Woah!
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Pacman Frog & Emerald Tree Boa
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Did you know that the Emerald Tree Boa holds its poop in for as long as it can so that predators can't detect them? They let it all go during a big rainstorm so that the scent is washed away! At least they clean up after themselves! Heehee!
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Giant River Otter & Black Caiman
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Did you know that the giant, six-foot-long river otter can tear apart a crocodile? Wow!
 Week 4

Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! We do not actually understand why the Pink River Dolphin is pink! How does it happen? Take your best guess!
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Giant Centipede & Goliath Bird Eating Spider
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Did you know that they are trying to have the tarantula renamed as the Goliath Tarantula? Even our favorite animal experts, the Wild Kratts, are joining in on this! It turns out that this spider rarely ever eats birds, so its name is misleading!
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Bullet Ant & Decoy Building Spider
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Are you ready for this? There is a spider that will build a larger, fake spider out of debris, and shake its web like a puppet master to scare away large predators such as dragonflies! Neat!
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Potoo & Howler Monkey
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Did you know that the howler monkey makes the loudest sound of any primate? Yeesh! Earplugs, please!

 Week 10
Lesson 10
Poison Dart Frog & Glass Frog
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! We are all used to hearing about how Australia has the deadliest things in the world, right? However, the Amazon is home to the most poisonous animal on earth - the Golden Poison Dart Frog, which can kill a human in one second! Do not boop this frog!
Lesson 11
Capybara & Scarlett Macaw
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Not only is the capybara the friendliest animal in the entire world, but it is also the largest rodent in the world! Yes, it is related to our little guineapig friends, so that's cool!
Lesson 12
Pygmy Marmoset & Mata Mata Turtle
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! The Mata Mata turtle shell is designed to look like bark, and its neck and head are designed to look like a leaf! It has amazing camouflage!
Lesson 13
Coati & Brazilian Wondering Spider
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Did you know that the Guinness World Book of Records flubbed this one a few years ago? The book incorrectly named the Brazilian Wondering Spider as the deadliest spider on earth, but we all know that the Sydney Funnel Web is the deadliest, period! Somebody forgot to have their coffee that day!
Lesson 14
Vampire Fish (Payara) & Green Iguana
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Green Iguanas can jump 50 feet out of a tree and land without injury! Woah! They have also invaded Florida! When there is a cold snap, frozen iguanas fall out of the trees onto Floridians walking below! Give the lizards somewhere warm to warm up, and they will be good to go in no time!
Lesson 15
Green Anaconda & Vampire Bat
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! It turns out that the vampire bat is actually the nicest bat, as it is the only bat to share food with its friends if their friends didn't find enough food to eat! Also, did you know that bats are the only mammals with wings? Cool!
Lesson 16
Squirrel Monkey & Ocelot
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Did you know that female monkeys have three color cones like humans do, but the males only have two? Having only two color cones allows the males to spot camouflaging predators, while the females can spot ripened fruit due to having three color cones!
Lesson 17
Giant Armadillo & Blue Morpho Butterfly
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Did you know that the Blue Morpho Butterfly is poisonous, just like the Monarch butterfly? Don't eat it!
Lesson 18
Red Tail Boa & Yellow Footed Tortoise
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Red Tailed Boa's are a very popular pet, but they grow almost 10 feet in 2 years! That's too much snake for me!
Lesson 19
American Crocodile & Jaguar
Learners will learn about each animal's unique adaptations, lifestyle, reproduction, predators, and role in the ecosystem, along with many interesting facts! Did you know that the jaguar has the strongest bite of any big cat? Amazing!
