It's the season to count our blessings. Students will color, cut out, and glue a turkey full of feathers they are thankful for. This is a discussion-based class where we will help each other think of things we can be thankful for. There will be a PowerPoint to give ideas of things we can be thankful for and the students are welcome to share more things. All abilities are welcome. The turkeys can be cut and colored at any point before or during class. The turkeys can be laminated (or use clear contact paper) to be able to use on their table for a special meal. It can also be hung up if they don't want to use it on the table. Supplies: -printout (3 pages) -coloring items (crayons, colored pencils, watercolors, markers, etc) -black sharpie -scissors -glue stick -small poster board or construction paper of any color optional: -clear contact paper to protect it later
學習目標
The students will be able to color, cut, and assemble a turkey
They will verbalize 6-10 things they are thankful for. They can either tell the grown-up or write them down themselves.

Some young learners may need help with cutting. You can help them during class or cut most of the pieces before class and then save a few of them to do during class.

I live in Idaho, USA with my husband and my 2 young daughters (Ages 2 and 5). We enjoy reading books, getting a little messy, and taking walks together.
