Students will discuss the importance of writing a thank you letter. They will review several types of thank you letters, discussing each one and providing feed back on key points. Students will make note of the main components of an excellent thank you letter. They will work as a group (or in groups depending on class number) to create a thank you letter together, which will be read and reviewed in class. Students should have basic writing ability (spelling is not necessary) to participate...
Students will improve their understanding of what a thank you letter is. They will work on recognizing a good thank you letter and practice creating their own letter.
I have 15 years of elementary teaching experience. I am also a full time homeschooling mom and have the unique ability to adjust my teaching style and expectations to the needs of the students I am working with.
