The main topics we will cover are accurate notes and rhythms, good tone quality, vibrato, dynamics, articulations, and overall musicality. My teaching style is student-centered and flexible. 1-on-1 lessons allow me to adapt and modify instruction based on student needs. I have a nurturing and supportive personality, and I prioritize making students feel valued and motivated to reach their full potential. I want my students to be well-rounded individuals who develop a life-long love for music through learning how to play the flute. In these ongoing private lessons, we will study and prepare the 3 etudes required for All-Region and All-State auditions. My name is Lynlie, and I am a flute player and teacher! I have been playing flute for almost 15 years. I have a Master of Music in flute performance. I have been hired to play at churches, weddings, and in orchestras. I have taught music to students ages 3-70! I truly believe that music is for all ages and all abilities. I joined Outschool to teach music because I love being a virtual teacher! I started my virtual teaching journey by teaching English to students in China. Teaching online allows teachers and students to connect across any distance. This gives opportunity to students who don't have a music teacher in their area.
