My teaching approach includes guided play where I demonstrate and collaborate with students to reach our goals as well as hands on learning by doing. I allow students the opportunity to succeed with only the smallest amount of assistance required. These lessons are student centric with room for discussion and collaboration. 

Limited Minecraft experience is required, the students should at least know how to explore the world and interact with objects, but I will also cover these concepts if necessary. 

In this class, we will build a fenced area, hatch, catch, tame, apply leads, breed, feed, dye collars, and name as many dogs as possible in a limited time period on my secure and private Minecraft server. Select students will also present their new dog family to the rest of the class.

This class will take place inside of a Minecraft Bedrock Server. This is the most widely used version, so most people will have this version which can be accessed by any device that uses the Marketplace.  If you only use Java Edition you will not be able to join the class or server world. 

I hope that this will be a fun class and we all learn tons about how dogs work in Minecraft and also some good skills like time management, friendly competition, organization, and demonstration while we play.
