Week 1Lesson 1What is Anger?In this lesson we will learn what anger is and how to recognize anger in ourselves and others.Week 2Lesson 2How can anger be a good thing?We will learn how anger can be positive, the fight or flight response, and why it is important to tame our temper.Week 3Lesson 3Anger in depthIn this lesson, we will learn what the anger iceberg is, what the anger thermometer is, and how anger can be like a mask. This lesson is extremely interesting!Week 4Lesson 4Anger management techniquesIn this lesson, I will be giving many different strategies and techniques to tame your temper. Students will be encouraged to go on a personal journal to find strategies that will work for them when they are angry.

By the end of the class, students will understand what anger is, how to recognize anger, why anger is important, how anger can mask other emotions, and ways to manage and cope with angry feelings.
I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to teach this class to you! I have a degree in Psychology with a concentration in human development and worked in the school system with children ages 3-18 for 9 years. I taught group and individual therapy sessions on a daily basis, with an emphasis on emotional regulation and control. I believe this class in general is very important for our youth.

Also - this course uses some supplemental YouTube videos.
