Students will identify important details to support a topic. Students will create a 1-paragraph outline with 3-4 words per line. Students will brainstorm strong vocabulary to use in the essay. Students will write a 1-paragraph essay with a topic sentence and clincher using a variety of strong vocabulary and sentence openers.
