In this one week tutoring session, the student and I will be using a program called SIPPS (Systematic Instruction of Phonological Procedures and Sight Words). This program matches the student at their current reading level using a mastery test, and allows the teacher to see exactly where they need support. This program is researched based, and systematically trains the brain to become strong in reading. I will be using the extension level curriculum, which includes: *Guided...
Using the mastery test, I will start students where they currently are, and them move forward through the SIPPS lessons that fill in the gaps.
Students will need a whiteboard, expo marker, and eraser.
The curriculum I will be using is SIPPS. I have bought the materials and rights to use this curriculum.
