The learning goals for this course will be to teach the student about the Spitfire aircraft, the historic significance during World War II, facts about the different variants of the aircraft, and how the aircraft was used in the European theater of the war. The teacher has 20 years' experience in the United States Air Force as a meteorologist and very familiar with military aircraft. The teacher is also an Arizona STEM certified teacher.

There is no overt violent imagery in this class and is suitable for middle school age students. There will be a YouTube video using the teacher's Premium account that will be viewed in class on the Outschool platform. The student does not have to go to a separate site for any material in this class.
