Learners will join in for a week of Super Sew fun. We'll learn the basics in handsewing and how to apply it in the most common repair/mends. Learners will build confidence and patience while being taught hand sewing techniques...no experience is needed yet an interest in sewing is recommended. Easy to follow along instruction to start, followed by repairing/mending on their very own recycled fabric scraps. 1)Sewing Kit 2)Embroidery Hoop (optional, yet it'll help with your little ones grip/stability while they focus on sewing) 3)Recycled Textiles (Learners will be sent a list of the exact measurements, and various clothing items that can be used from around the house, after enrollment for their week of SUPER Sew fun)
Parents may help learners ages 3-6 with handling of their sewing needles for safety reasons, although you may be surprised with how steady and responsible your little ones are.
