Are you a hands-on/kinesthetic learner? Do you enjoy learning through math games and activities? If so, this math class might be exactly what you are looking for! Math is such an important subject to learn and some concepts can be challenging at first, but practice makes perfect! In this class, students will be practicing important math concepts that are taught and reviewed in 3rd and 4th grade math classes. If you are an advanced 2nd grader going into 3rd grade, finishing 3rd grade and entering 4th grade or if you are entering 5th grade and want a refresher of these skills, this class is for you! Students will learn these math concepts through fun activities, games, slides and/or engaging worksheets. The classroom environment will be very positive, fun and engaging. Class Schedule: 1. Introductions and 5-minute multiplication facts practice activity or game 2. The concept will be taught either on a whiteboard/zoom whiteboard or google slides. 3. The concept will be practiced through an activity, game or an engaging worksheet. If you have any questions about my class, please let me know!

Place Value and Rounding
My lesson is about the place and value of each digit up to a 4 digit number. We will also be learning about how to round numbers up to the nearest hundred or thousand place depending on student's ability. Students will use cards or dice to create numbers while practicing these skills. 30 分鐘線上直播課

Division
My lesson is about dividing two digit by one digit numbers. We will also complete a division word problem. Students will create a division matching game. 30 分鐘線上直播課
課 3:
Fractions
My lesson is about drawing pictures for fractions, making equivalent fractions and comparing fractions. Students will complete create a fraction craft and play a comparing fractions game. 30 分鐘線上直播課
課 4:
Area and Perimeter
My lesson is about finding the area and perimeter of a square and rectangle. Students will create a zoo project, developing exhibits and determining the area and perimeter of each exhibit. 30 分鐘線上直播課

I have a special education certification and have worked with many students with different needs. I am able to make modifications and accommodations to the class to help each student thrive!

For some sessions I might be sharing my screen to work on google slides or a virtual whiteboard/word to practice the math concepts.

Please have paper and pencil with you. Other materials might be recommended depending on the concept being worked on. I will communicate with learners about materials needed for each class through the classroom.
