This is a fun and interactive course designed to support homeschooled students currently using the Saxon Math curriculum. However, it is open to all elementary students looking to keep their math skills sharp during the summer. In this ongoing weekly class learners will practice math skills that will support learning with the Saxon Math curriculum grades 1-3. Specific areas covered include: arithmetic, fractions, word problems, calendar use, telling time, patterns, shapes, graphs, money, measurement, and more. Each week there will be a theme. All our games and activities for the week will tie together with in a fun theme. Class Schedule with Weekly Themes: June 11- Going to an Amusement Park June 18- Camping Trip June 25- Going to the Pool July 2- A Trip to New York City July 9- Beach Vacation July 16- The Outback July 23- A Rainy Day Inside July 30- It's a Birthday Party August 20- A Trip to Yellowstone National Park August 27- The Fair September 3- Back to School
