Travel through time and see the world with Mrs. A this summer! Each week, we will travel through time to learn an exciting story from history, then travel across the globe as we learn about that country today. To start class, we will begin with community time and an introduction to the topic with our question of the day. Next, we will hear a little-known story from history. We will identify where in the world that story came from, and find it on the globe, before diving into that country...
Students will develop an understanding of their place in time Students will be exposed to several different people and stories from the past Students will identify specific facts about a country. Students will distinguish between cities, countries and continents. Students will make connections between their homes and new places. Students will interact and develop social skills through friendship and learning.
