Students will participate in a role-playing game that allows them to experience various parts of Greek Mythology as a young hero/heroine. The quest of each hero/heroine will be to collect the 5 pieces of The Golden Fleece. The Golden Fleece has been stolen from its home of Thessaly and ripped into 5 pieces. The goal of our lesson is to experience some of the adventures that happen in Greek Mythology. If the student has knowledge of Greek Mythology, their hero/heroine will make wise decisions in the different encounters. If the student has not read Greek Mythology, they will encounter new monsters, gods/goddesses, and places. Every student will receive all the information they need to make the best decision for their hero/heroine.

Mythology often has a lot of violence and death due to their stories centered around war, heroes vs. monsters, impossible quests, and jealous gods/goddesses.
