Students will improve their understanding of the many literary elements we will practice in class.

Homework assignments and worksheets will be available for download and print. Please make sure you have a way to print these out. There are about 30 pages of content to print and do NOT require colored ink. These homework assignments will typically include a 1-2 page worksheet that focuses on things such as vocabulary, character analysis, creative writing, etc. Through the duration of the course, there will be a couple projects that will be assigned-some of these will be in-class projects and some will be completed outside of class. Students will have more time to complete these projects and some will even be due at the end of the course.

 Homework assignments along with the reading will take anywhere from 2-6 hours a WEEK depending on the student.

Students will have the opportunity to complete many assignments that follow along with the concepts being taught in class. As the course instructor, I will look over these assignments to determine whether students are understanding what is being taught. Any concerns will be addressed to parents.
