課堂經歷
Artists will focus on one or two elements each session and create a piece of work. Elements of art are the tools, or ideas, that artists use for all of their creations (line, shape & form, color, value, texture, space) Exploring these elements will transfer into all future pieces of artwork! Artists will be able to use their interests in their artwork while still learners about the element of art that we are exploring. Artists will also benefit from working with other artists- allowing them to discuss idea and give each other feedback. Materials required each session: pencil, paper Optional materials each session: colored pencils, markers, crayons, pastels, ruler, scissors, glue, watercolor. Week of July 7th, Session 1: Lines Week of July 7th, Session 2: Shapes and Forms Week of July 14th, Session 3: Color Week of July 14th, Session 4: Value (Shading) Week of July 21st, Session 5: Texture Week of July 21st, Session 6: Creating Space
