Sessions will answer the following questions in each session as per the topic discussed: Why is a positive attitude towards learning so important? How can I accomplish my goals? How can I manage my time when I have so much to do? How can I focus more on my schoolwork when I find it is hard to concentrate? How can I complete the large volume of reading that college requires? How do I take notes in college? How do I manage the stress of my classes and campus life? How should I approach studying for a college exam? What is the best place to study and the best way to study? How do I create a lifestyle of learning? How do I write a research paper? How can I learn faster and memorize facts easily?
Homeschool high school students should take this class to master college study skills. Carter, a homeschooling mother, college English professor and homeschool guidance counselor with a post graduate certificate in “College Admissions” from Columbia University guides students in the development of study skills to ensure college success. Parents should purchase the eBook, “Get Good Grades in College” This class is based on Carter's eBook, "Get Good Grades in College".

Homework will reinforce study skills being taught.in each session. Participants will watch the video teaching lesson (approximately 40 minutes each) per session. Students will also read the accompanying posted materials per week from the eBook, " Get Good Grades in College" and other supplemental materials provided by the teacher. Students will also respond to weekly teacher-posted questions regarding each video lesson and complete a weekly learning journal. The learning journal will reinforce topical study skills. Students will correspondence with the teacher through email, posted class discussion and feedback on assignments. Students will receive feedback through the class discussion. Supplemental materials will also be posted in the Google Classroom. The code for entrance to the classroom will be provided by the instructor after the first class session.1 - 2 每週課外時間
