In this class I will review good study skills, time management, and organization tricks to help middle schoolers adjust to the demands of homework and extra curricular activities. We will discuss both the macro the micro picture. In other words, I will help them review the demands of each day individually, as well as the week as a whole and talk about ways for them to take control of their schedules and be successful. Students will learn basic organization skills, identify what takes up most of their time, find ways to be more productive and think about what is important to accomplish in a given period of time. Hopefully students will feel more confident as they tackle middle school obligations. This class is appropriate for children transitioning from elementary to middle school, current middle schoolers, and home schoolers who have many obligations during the day.
